Holding Your Mind in Mind Journal: Digital Download

A 30-Day Reflective Journal for Self-Understanding, Emotional Insight, and Growth

Most of us were taught how to function long before we were taught how to feel. We learned how to move through the world—productive, composed, capable—while our inner world was often left unspoken, misunderstood, or rushed past.

This journal is a different kind of space.

Not a place to fix yourself.
Not a place to optimize or perform.
But a place to pause, listen, and begin to understand what’s been there all along.

Through guided reflections and thoughtful prompts, this 30-day experience invites you to slow down and stay with your thoughts and feelings long enough to notice them, hear them, and relate to them in a new way.

Because real change doesn’t come from control.

It comes from understanding.

Not your average therapist:

Dr. Shemena Johnson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Los Angeles who helps adults and couples navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

AS SEEEN IN:

With degrees in clinical psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, and Antioch University, she deepened her training at the Psychoanalytic Center of California and later earned her doctorate in marriage and family counseling from Ryokan College, where her dissertation explored race-based traumatic stress in African Americans. Her diverse professional experiences, combined with her identity as a Black woman, shape her belief that healing must honor both the individual soul and the cultural context that surrounds it.

Dr. Johnson has worked with people across cultures, lifestyles, and life stages, and she finds deep purpose in helping others move through life’s obstacles with courage and clarity. She approaches therapy as both science and soul work—where awareness, connection, and possibility can emerge from even the most difficult pain.
